Program description

The Sarah AI receptionist appointment notifications program, operated by YB Forge on behalf of participating practices (including Balakhani Dental), sends appointment-related text messages to patients and callers who agree to receive them: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and replies to questions you text to the practice number.

Consent and opt-in

You opt in verbally during a phone call — when booking an appointment, you are asked whether you would like your confirmation and reminders sent by text to the number you are calling from, and texts are sent only if you say yes — or by texting the practice number first, in which case replies are sent only to that same number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or any purchase.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and conversations (typically 1–3 messages per appointment).
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Opting out

Reply STOP to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, simply text the practice number again or opt in on your next call.
